Missing Books – PASCAL delivers

If a book is not found after searching for it on the shelf for a patron, the Reference staff will:
 
 
·         Alert the circulation desk so the book status can be changed from available to missing.
 
·         Assist the patron in making a PASCAL Delivers request.
 
·         Make CATALOG PRINTOUT:
 
·         Enter PATRON NAME and CONTACT INFO (email address OR phone number whichever contact means is better)
 
·         Place the Catalog Printout with the Patron name and contact information in the bin (box) for shelving searches located at the Circulation Desk. The Shelving staff will then perform a thorough search routine.
 
·         If the book is located the status will be change back to available.
